v1.7.0 — Font processing for faster navigation

  • Registered only the Pretendard character ranges used on each page in the primary family to reduce font selection work during navigation.
  • Kept the existing small subsets and variable weights, with the full Pretendard range available for input and dynamically added text.
  • Bundled font declarations with site styles to remove the external font stylesheet request.

v1.6.0 — Live search by tag and author

  • Removed the input delay and enabled searching during IME composition, replacing results when the new batch is ready.
  • Made tags and author names searchable and displayed them alongside search results.
  • Tags can be searched with or without a leading #.

v1.5.0 — Article search

  • Added Pagefind 1.5.2 to search article titles and content in the current language.
  • The search button opens a dialog with result excerpts; search code loads only when the dialog opens.
  • The deployment build generates the search index automatically, including newly published articles.

v1.4.0 — Faster initial article rendering

  • Deferred layout for offscreen article blocks and resolved their heights before table of contents navigation.
  • Applied the theme before stylesheets and started Google Analytics and comments after the first contentful paint.
  • Loaded KaTeX only for articles with equations and bundled the icons in site CSS to remove external icon stylesheet and font requests.
  • Removed the manual Cloudflare analytics beacon that duplicated Cloudflare's automatically injected script.

v1.3.1 — Pretendard web font correction

  • Matched the web font family name so page text and UI use Pretendard, including buttons and form controls.
  • Pinned Pretendard to 1.3.9 and enabled variable dynamic subsets to download only the character ranges needed by each page.

v1.3.0 — Navigation and stylesheet loading improvements

  • Menu links now use Hugo's canonical page paths to avoid an extra redirect.
  • The ASCII diagram font is loaded only on pages with diagrams, and icon CSS is loaded only on article pages that use icons.

v1.2.1 — Footer layout refinement

  • Moved the version, deployment commit and changelog to the left of the copyright on the same row.
  • The commit identifier now uses the same font as the rest of the footer.

v1.2.0 — Responsive thumbnails and version display

  • Home and listing thumbnails now offer 480, 768 and 1024px images, selected according to display size and pixel density.
  • The six homepage images use about 68KB instead of 416KB on a standard desktop display.
  • Added the blog version, deployment commit and a changelog link to the footer.

  • Introduced Pretext 0.0.9 to improve text sizing in homepage cards.
  • Reused text measurements and reduced repeated DOM measurements to improve homepage responsiveness.
